George Daniels in watchmaking

George Daniels mastered the traditional craft of making a complete watch by hand and became one of the central figures in the revival of independent watchmaking. His co-axial escapement reduced sliding friction in the regulating system; Omega industrialized the invention after acquiring rights to it in the 1990s.
