Zenith in watchmaking
Georges Favre-Jacot brought watchmaking trades together under one roof in Le Locle, helping establish the modern manufacture model. Zenith became celebrated for precision movements and, in 1969, introduced the high-frequency automatic El Primero chronograph calibre.
